Killian
and Kaleena are Soloman Island Eclectus Parrots. Eclectus
parrots are one of the few species of birds that are sexually
dimorphic- the males are green and the females are red!
Among parrots, Eclectus are exceptional pets, and can be
talented talkers.

Land of Vos for a wealth of information about Eclectus
parrot care, diet, and much more!
Killian
will be nine, and is a very active, very smart, VERY talkative
green guy! He bring me so much joy and is insanely entertaining!
He adores humans and other animals as well, and is happy
to have 3 friendly poodles around to keep him from ever
being bored! We have a very close relationship and I am
so thankful for him!
For
more about Killian, you can visit his old website Killian's
Corner. For
more recent pictures of my special feathered friends, stop
by my blog.
They invariably find their way into frequent posts there!

Kaleena
hatched in May of 2002,
though she will always be my "baby"! She is quite
laid back most of the time, and has such a sweet, innocent
personality! She will step up to anyone, and is wonderful
with visitors. When she isn't busy trying to make a nest,
Kaleena is a big cuddle-bug and loves kisses and snuggles!
Kaleena
had a unique "babyhood"- she was co-parented,
raised by her parent birds (both pets) but socialized by
her human "mom". Kaleena really had the best of
both worlds!
Killian
and Kaleena adore each other, however I keep them in separate
cages/playstnds since I am not choosing to breed them.
