I've recently removed the custom order request form from the Order Form page as I have about a year's worth to work on currently and can not accept any more.

Once the current requests are filled sometime next year, I will let you know through my newsletter when I am ready to take some new ones.

Also on auction this week are some new "Bird Poops", a Congo Grey charm, a Moluccan Cockatoo choker, and a beaded Double Yellow Headed Amazon charm necklace with earrings.

The Bird of the Month is a the striking Alexandrine Ringneck! I haven't made any of these for a while, and my website was needing some new "models", so here they are! Like last month's Rosellas, these Ringnecks are a more complicated bird to make with many colors to blend, but they are certainly a beautiful bird.

The collection is on sale for the next 5 days on eBay! There are a male and a female charm, male choker, male pin, female pendant on cord, male beaded bracelet and male beaded necklace/earring set.

I'm also having a sale on all store items - I've applied a 5% discount to EVERYTHING in my eBay Store through the end of the month! This means that all of the "Buy It Now" items are on sale, so if you've had your eye on something there, now is the time to snap it up!

The Bird of the Month is a bird that I've never sculpted before, the beautiful Crimson Rosella. Those of you in some parts of Australia probably see them frequently! I can only imagine having these beautiful birds wild in your backyard!

There is great detail on the scalloping on the wings and back which was a fun challenge. There is a charm, choker, pin, pendant on cord, beaded bracelet and beaded necklace/earring set currently on auction on eBay!

I have also listed a large assortment of wild and wonderful red, white and blue creations - just in time for the 4th of July! The birds loosely represented are: African Grey, Amazon, Cockatiel, Cockatoo, Conure, Eclectus, Macaw and Parrotlet - however some could look like other species, so it's really up to your imagination! I have made several unique necklaces with metal charms that have the words "FOLLOW YOUR HEART" on one side and "LIVE LIFE, LOVE LIFE" on the other side. I have attached a small bird charm with a spring clasp, so that you can easily move it to wear the necklace either way! The 3 birds currently on eBay in this style are a Congo Grey, Blue Front Amazon and Rosebreasted Cockatoo.

The Bird of the Month is the adorable Peach-faced Lovebird! I'm happy to offer you a LOT to choose from this month, including a glass beaded necklace set, beaded bracelet, pendant without cord, pendant with cord, "normal" pin, Flights of Fancy pin, charm choker, dangle earrings, magnet and a bracelet charm all on auction on eBay for the next week.

Also new on eBay this week are a Senegal bracelet charm, Sulphur Crested Cockatoo charm, Blue and Gold Macaw Beaded bracelet and earrings with gorgeous lamp work beads, as well as another bird poop pendant. ;)

The Bird of the Month is one of my favorite cockatoos, the Citron Crested Cockatoo! I have listed a great assortment in this species including a glass beaded necklace set, beaded bracelet, pendant without cord, pendant with cord, pin, charm choker and a bracelet charm on auction on eBay for the next week.

I must admit that the Bird of the Month for March was entirely influenced by the charming conures that I was lucky to meet in Mexico last month! It is the Half-moon Conure, also known as the Orange-fronted Parakeet or Orange-fronted Conure (Aratinga canicularis). Stop by my blog if you'd like to see some photos of the adorable birds that were my inspiration!

HAPPY NEW YEAR! I hope that you and your flock are staying nice and warm, where ever you may be! Here in the midwest we have been getting some extreme cold and snow - so I decided it might be a nice time to make a few penguins!

This month's Bird of the Month is the Chinstrap Penguin, which are native to the Antarctic peninsula and southern islands. I've never made this species of penguin before, they are really a striking looking bird, and the little "chin strap" is unique among penguins!

The Bird of the Month for November is the Red Bellied Parrot. They are a pretty bird to wear for Fall, don't you think? IT"S TRICK OR TREAT TIME!

First of all, the birds and I want to wish you a Happy Halloween! :)

There are a lot of website updates going on at the moment, so in the midst of this, you may notice a discrepancy in the prices for custom orders on some pages temporarily. (For the current pricing on custom orders, please see the newly updated Item List and Prices page.)

There is no longer going to be separate pricing on different parrot species, instead there is now a flat fee per parrot, regardless of species, for all custom orders. Non-custom pieces will remain at the same lower prices, and I will continue to offer monthly sales on eBay.

Speaking of that, an assortment of Sun Conures and Cockatiels are on sale this week on eBay! Sun Conures are one of my favorite birds to create, so although I had a sale on some Sun Conures not too long ago, I couldn't resist making a few more. :) The Rainforest set is a necklace design that I rarely offer on sale, as it is more time consuming to create that the glass beaded sets. It is one of the most popular designs that is requested when I take custom orders however, and is quite striking in person!

The Bird of the Month for October may come as a surprise, since it is not a parrot! It is my first time making a member of the Corvidae family, and I decided to choose the Raven as my Bird of the Month. Did you know that Corvids (ravens, crows, magpies and a few others) are some of the most intelligent birds, showing self awareness in mirror tests, as well as tool building ability? Pretty impressive for a bird that is so common that we often don't give them much thought.

The collection, as well as a few other one of a kind parrot and Toucan pieces, are now up for auction on eBay and end on the 9th.
