Whew,
I hope you all are staying cool in this summer heat!
Things
have been busy, but I hope to be caught up enough to accept
a limited number of new custom orders soon. Please join
my email list (if you haven't already) to be informed on
the day that I can take some new orders! Keep in mind that
I will only be open for custom orders for a few days, since
I get such a high volume of orders, so once I have reached
the number of orders that will keep me busy for 4-6 weeks,
I will close the order form again.
There
is always
something for sale on my "Inventory page" though,
so click on the Amazon set at left to take a look at the
newest creations that are available.
All of the items listed there are in stock and ready for
immediate purchase.
I've
been swamped lately, but having fun with some more unusual
pieces recently. Stay tuned for further updates to come.
I
recently created and photographed a special request for
BirdTalk magazine. Keep an eye out for the Fall/Halloween
issue coming out soon, where one of my Halloween Necklace/Earring
Sets will be featured! It was an honor to be asked to be
a part of one of the magazine's featured columns again,
and I can't wait to see the issue.

I
have just listed a huge variety of new jewelry (and one
frame!) on EBAY
which you can bid on for the next week. I don't think I
have EVER had so many items up for auction at one time!
However, since eBay had a listing discount, I decided to
take advantage of it! Several items are highly discounted
due to small imperfections, so check it out if you are looking
for a great deal! I have also listed some beautiful one
of a kind pieces that are different than anything on my
website! Some of my favorites are this vibrant "SUPERSTAR"
Sun Conure necklace/earring set and a matching bracelet
- perfect for summertime!

am just about filled up with orders for the next month or
so, and will be pulling the order form down on Tuesday,
and plan to resume accepting custom orders around the first
week of August. Items in stock

Happy
4th of July from all of us at ParrotJewelry.com - including
Killian (at right) who wanted to get in on the patriotic
fun! We want to wish you and your flocks and families a
safe and joyful holiday!
ORDER
ALERT! I
am happy to let you know that I have opened up the order
form, and will be accepting a limited number of custom orders!
Once I receive enough orders in line to keep me busy for
approximately 1-2 months, I will stop accepting new custom
orders to focus my time on creating/filling those in line.
(Please keep in mind that various Inventory items will always
be available, as well as a variety of items in my Etsy shop.)
If
you miss this ordering time frame, it will be approximately
4-6 weeks and then I will be open for another limited time
to accept custom orders, and continue on in this way. I
receive so many orders that it would be impossible for me,
as one person handsculpting each item, to actually keep
up otherwise.
The
time that I can spend working varies from week to week due
to chronic illness, so some weeks I may be able to fill more
orders than others. Thank you for your patience and I hope
that you will feel that your custom creations are worth the
wait!

happy to say that I'm getting closer and closer to being
ready to be open for new custom orders - should be less
than 2 weeks now! So please do check back soon if you are
waiting to place an order.

I've
finished revising the website, the updates and new prices
are now reflected on all pages. Things
are coming along with the orders in line, and I hope to
be ready to accept NEW orders in the coming weeks! :)

Can
you believe it is June already? Time sure has been flying
by!
I
had a fall and some injuries last week, and unfortunately
this in addition to another flare up with my chronic illness
has slowed me up considerably in the current line up of
orders. It looks like it may be yet another month or more
before I can accept orders.
To
be informed when I can take your custom order, be sure to
join my email list (sign up below the menu section on the
left) as I will send out an email as soon as I am ready
to take new orders.
I
am taking some of this time to do some much need updates
on the website, which does include some price increases
I'm afraid! I really hate to do it, but it has come to the
point that the demand for my work much exceeds how fast
I can keep up - which means an increase is due. I hope to
have all of the updates and prices changes reflected on
each page in the coming weeks.

I
am currently booked up heavily with custom orders, and am
unable to accept any more new orders
right now. I am sorry for the inconvenience, but
because each item is still completely handsculpted by me
alone, there are only so many orders that I can keep up
with. Because of this, once I reach the limit of orders
in line, I am forced to periodically put a hold on accepting
new orders for a time, as much as I hate to!
Please
join the email list (on the left hand menu at the bottom
of this page) if you wish to be informed when I am able
to resume taking new orders. Hopefully, this will be in
a few weeks.
In
the meantime, you are welcome to browse the items that are
in stock and available for purchase on the INVENTORY
page, or view Alicia's
Creations Shop on Etsy for more items that are available
for immediate purchase.

I
have just set up a shop on Etsy.com which I hope you will
come visit! If you haven't heard of it, Etsy is a wonderful
online marketplace for handmade items and art. Unlike eBay,
there is no bidding, if you see something you like, you
can just purchase it. (Also, it is easy and free to sign
up to buy things, and you don't have to give your credit
card info; simply your name and address is required to create
an account.)
I
have a new series of whimsical bird jewelry that I am calling
"Flights of Fancy", which are currently available in my
Etsy Shop. These differ quite a bit from my other parrot
jewelry, however each is one of a kind and handmade from
polymer clay, then impressed with rubber stamps and various
odds and ends to give the pieces great texture. They are
enhanced further by metallic powders for a really unique
look. Most of the birds are "holding" glass beads
or metal charms with inspirational words. I love the look
of collage and altered art, and I think this series reflects
that!
Please
respect this, the online bird world is relatively small
and I am frequently informed of my work being posted
on various websites without my permission. While I appreciate
that many people like my graphics and photos of my artwork,
I want to keep my work exclusive to my website as it
was intended. Thank you!
