The bird of the month for February is the majestic Greenwing Macaw! In honor of Valentine's Day, I have created a one of a kind bracelet and necklace/earring set using heart shaped glass beads, and am auctioning them for sale on eBay. You can click on the photo at left to take you to the current auction listings. Besides the special "Love themed" bracelet and necklace set, some other Greenwinged Macaw items have been listed, as well as a Blue and Gold set. Get your bid in now if you want to purchase any of these items, the auctions will end in one week unless you choose to take advantage of the Buy it Now option.

In other news, I have joined the masses and am now officially a "blogger". :) Stop by my new blog if you'd like take a look.

The website updates mentioned last month have taken longer to complete than expected unfortunately. The majority of the pages are completed though, and we are close to having it done!

Happy New Year! Things are busy on the website right now with updates and adjusting prices for the new year. Please bear with us as you may notice conflicting prices on some pages until all updates are complete.

New for 2008 will be the addition of magnets in full bodied birds as well as smaller magnets of just the bird face. I had offered magnets quite a few years ago but was not happy with the strength of the magnets themselves. However, in recent tests using Rare Earth Magnets, I have been impressed with the superior strength and durability, so am happy to be able to offer custom parrot magnets again. HAPPY THANKSGIVING!

The bird of the month is the Orange Winged Amazon. I don't often make them or have them in stock, but I thought they might be a nice choice for this month. I have made a bracelet charm, choker, pin and glass bead necklace & earring set in this species and they are on sale in my current EBAY AUCTIONS . Other species currently on eBay are female Eclectus, Lovebirds, Timneh and Congo Greys, and a few others, so check it out!

I have also updated my INVENTORY with some new Galah Cockatoos, Peachfaced Lovebirds, African Greys, and others - they are in stock and ready to go, perfect gifts for the holidays!

I am happy to say that I am seeing some improvement in my health situation and hope to be feeling up to returning to taking custom orders within the next few months if possible!

It is with great regret that I am not going to be able to have an opening for custom orders this month, and have to announce that am going on "sick leave" indefinitely at this point.

Due to ongoing complications from auto-immune disease, it is impossible for me to accept orders at this time. Unfortunately I am unable to predict whether I will be able to have an opening before the holidays or not at this point, but most likely not. I am very sorry!

Whenever my situation improves enough that I can return to work, I will be announcing it in my newsletter! Please sign up for the newsletter by filling in the box on the left under the menu if you wish to be informed of updates and sales.

I will continue to sell items that are already made on my Inventory page, such as the White Bellied Caique set at right, as well as a small assortment of creations on EBAY AUCTIONS and Etsy.

In addition to the Pionus items on eBay, I have added an assortment of others, many with starting bids at just $10 and under. Time to start thinking about holiday gifts, so check it out!

I had hoped to have an opening for custom orders this month, but due to the overwhelming number of orders received in the last opening, along with recent illness and health complications, I am running a bit behind. Therefor, the next opening for custom orders will be sometime in October. This will likely be the last opening for Christmas orders before the holidays. I cannot say yet when in October the opening will be, so stay tuned and as soon as I get caught up with the orders currently in line, I will post the date for the next opening for a limited number of orders. The opening will be limited to 24 hours only, so I will be sending out a notice in advance. It seems that the feature in this month's BirdTalk magazine has brought many new viewers to my website, and I am so happy to hear from you - welcome to the website, and I hope you enjoy viewing my work!

I am currently booked up with orders for approximately 6 weeks, and removed the order form for custom orders several days ago. ACCEPTING ORDERS!

I am currently taking a limited number of custom orders, so the order form will be open for a few days. Please fill out the order form if you wish to place your order! Once I receive enough orders to keep me busy for approximately 6 weeks, I will close the order form again until September/October. If you miss this opening, please check back then. There is always something available in my INVENTORY though, and all of the items listed there are in stock and ready for immediate purchase.
